Emma's Conference

Today we had a conference with Mrs. Callahan, Emma's preschool teacher. She is so impressed with Emma's knowledge, focus and blossoming personality! We thought she was pretty smart and able to learn things quickly, but it was solidified by her teacher's comments!
*Only one of two that can recognize all of the upper and lower case letters
*One of a couple that can write her name neatly
*Only one of two that can draw all shapes
*Great attention to detail, stays on task and listens well
*She can count the highest in the class, up to 29 and also make a group of the same amount
We are so proud of Emma's progress! Mrs. Callahan is a remarkable teacher who Emma loves dearly. Emma actually leads the class in songs, the pledge of allegiance and calendar time. This is the same little girl who barely spoke in class last year. Both of her teachers say they wouldn't be surprised if they see Emma on 'American Idol' one day. She shines during music and is one of the loudest singers in the class, always knowing the words. It's so hard to believe she'll start Kindergarten next year!
